Gaga Cafe is my comfort spot in Shanghai. I've been here thrice already but I can't seem to get enough of it.

It's the perfect place for getting some work done or grabbing a quiet dinner after a long day.

The cafe is a two-story building located right outside the mall at Raffles City Changning. It can be accessed by metro lines 3/4 and 2. The nearest exit is Exit 5, which is linked to the mall.

I highly recommend the cinnamon baked apple brioche, perfect for satisfying one's sweet tooth! They also serve pastas and snacks. We enjoyed munching on the sweet potato fries and the Sichuan karaage.

Diner is another cute find. While walking around this area, I stumbled upon this cute piece at an intersection. At that time, the place was packed, so we decided to come back another time.

Acai Smoothie Bowl

On my next visit, I arrived with my friend around 10 am. The place was already a bit full, which was why we sat at the counter.

The place can only accommodate around 28 people.

Fine Café

Fine Café is tucked in a tiny corner of the French Concession. But it's impossible to miss since there always seems to be a queue for it.

This brunch place is located along the 乌鲁木齐中路. There is one other branch in Shanghai,

and two more in Beijing.

This place was suggested by my friend so we decided to check it out and have brunch together. Fine's specialty is on its pancakes.

We ordered the sweet pancakes and coffee. We also tried the ham & egg with avocado sandwich, which was really tasty as well.

Our original plan was to try their soufflé pancakes (what they are known for), but apparently they only serve it in their bigger restaurants (it's available in the other Shanghai branch).
